Rob Wardlaw - Divisional Director

As Business Unit Director, Rob will ensure that our procurement process and systems promotes openness and transparency. He will assess the competence of contractors and suppliers during the works and prior to appointment. He will lead the due diligence on the pre-qualification and selection of contractors, suppliers, and service providers, including establishing authenticity and integrity of information and record keeping.

Rob is an experienced Director with 25 years delivering projects in a wide range of sectors. In the last three years, he has focused purely on the delivery of fire remediation schemes, replaced façades and brought them up to current compliance standards with residents in-situ.

Rob commenced his career with several Tier 1 Contractors. He completed his QS training with Mowlem’s major special projects division before spending the next seven years as a QS on large commercial schemes in London. Subsequently, he delivered several high-rise residential schemes acting as Commercial Lead and supporting the Delivery team at Wates.

Robs attention was then drawn back into the city to work for Mace on the delivery of the flagship scheme, 70 St Mary’s Axe

He later took the position of Commercial Director and then Managing Director of a subcontractor delivering £70m turnover in façade and drylining. During this period, he gained knowledge of varying façade treatments using products from around the globe. He built strong relationships with material manufacturers and suppliers. He also built relationships with highly skilled façade installers, who have now become part of our team as we continue to
grow our self-delivery offering. The enables us to add another level of quality control and management within our service delivery.
